In North America, the average snowmobile rider is 45 years old, with 75% male riders and 25% female riders. In 2017, the average rider rode upwards of 2000+ kilometers. Of course, depending on weather conditions throughout the season, riders wish to pass the 2000 km mark once again in the 2019/20 season.

Among North American riders, 60% of snowmobile riders belong to a club working together to provide fun, safe, and interactive group riding. Many clubs are available in different regions around Ontario, especially many in the Tri-City area with one of them being "Lake Conestoga Snowmobilers".

In 2018, there were a total of 124,000 snowmobile units sold in N.A with 1.5 million+ registered snowmobiles. 52% of snow riders trailer their snowmobiles to the trail while 47% ride their snowmobiles to the trail from their home or vacation house.

Economically, snowmobiles boost the economy by generating upwards of 100,000 full time jobs and revenue greater than 25 billion annually in Canada alone.

Gear up and get ready to hit the trails as the season is just around the corner!
