Kissing Bridge Trail 

Sometimes a great way to decide where to go snowmobiling is to find an iconic landmark and search for routes nearby. One stunning site to visit is the West Montrose Kissing Bridge, which is near Guelph and is the last covered bridge in Ontario and the oldest one in Canada. The Kissing Bridge Trail is a 45 km route that winds through rural communities, wetlands, and rivers along a former railway. You only need to take an easy 2 km detour to get views of the bridge. You can find easy parking nearby, making it easy to leave your tow vehicle while you cruise around soaking up the sites.

Conestogo Lake Conservation Area Trail 

While many people enjoy sledding as their main activity, you can also use your powersports vehicle to get you to better spots for other activities. Hunters and fisherman can use their vehicle to reach more remote spots that are harder to walk or drive to. One great place for these activities is the Conestoga Lake property near Guelph, Ontario, which sprawls over 2,300 hectares. Take in sites of the dam, which was built in 1958 to control floods and help provide water to nearby communities. The park does have an admission fee, but you'll get access to parking, picnic areas, washrooms, designated rest areas, camping, and a playground. The snowmobile trails on this property are a gravel surface underneath the snow.

Elora Cataract Trailway 

Located near Elora, Ontario, this 47 km loose soil road is a part of the Trans Canada Trail system. The snowmobile trails here wind alongside a historic railway line that joins up with two major watersheds: the Credit River and Grand River. As you enjoy snowmobiling, you'll take in views of a glaciated landscapes with plenty of forest and farm scenery. You'll pass multiple towns and villages including Cataract, Erin, Hillsburgh, Orton, Belwood, Fergus, and Elora. On your ride, you may pass walkers, hikers, skiers, and snowshoers. Some parts are only open to snowmobiles and equestrians at certain times of the year. The different trail heads offer parking spots and amenities include picnic areas, washrooms, and partial wheelchair access.

New Dundee Snowmobile Club Trail 

These snowmobile trails located near Cambridge, and they are maintained and managed with sled enthusiasts in mind! You'll find about 60 km of routes going from Ayr to Baden. Along the way, you'll find plenty of fuel and food options to keep your road trip going. There's convenient parking so you can leave your truck behind as you go enjoy these beautifully groomed trails!
